Aggression Level 1: Brand new athlete. No experience and new to the sport. No foundation yet of techniques and not aggressive.
Aggression Level 2: Athlete has demonstrated an understanding of Muaythai techniques and can put together combinations. Know basic defenses. Their level of aggression, however, is very mild. They are very timid in their approach and not confident on how to apply techniques yet.
Aggression Level 3: This athlete has a good understanding of technique and how to apply it in a sparring session or competition. Has been sparring at the gym and hit with a moderate level of force. Fairly able to control the level of power of their strikes.
Aggression Level 4: This Athlete has an understanding of techniques but hits with a lot of force and lacks control. They may or may not have experience but everything they do is with high aggression and even if told to hit softer, they still come out hard.
Aggression Level 5: This is a well balanced and probably accomplished Youth Athlete. They can work with anyone. They will go easy on someone that is a “2” but still be able to contain a “4”. They are experienced enough to let both sides be able to work
What you will need to bring:
*Glove weights as follows-6 oz for 45lbs and under, 8 oz for 46-60lbs, 10 oz for 61-90lbs, 90-110lbs 12oz, 111-135 14oz, 136lbs and greater is 16 oz.
*We will provide Chest protectors for all participants.
We will provide water and ice for all fighters
Food and snacks will be available for purchase at the event!
